JULY FAVOURITES

I know that this is an extremely cliché thing to say, but how is it the end of July already? I mean seriously, this year is just flying by! It’s funny because when I was in my teens I used to complain about how slow time was and how it was taking forever for me to turn 18, but the truth is that ever since I turned eighteen, time has just flown by. But hey, I’m glad to see the end of July because that means I’m closer to my holiday, and gosh, do I need it! I realised that I hadn’t done a monthly favourites post on here yet, so here are a few bits that have been floating my boat for the last 30 days.

Let’s start with makeup, the Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara has been rocking my lashes! I was already a huge fan of the original formula, but the waterproof version tops it for me. It’s been hard adapting to the size of the wand because I was so used to the Guerlain one, so I have been getting mascara all over my eyelids, but it’s happening less and less every time, so hopefully I’ll get the hang of it again. It holds the curl extremely well, gives me the most beautiful long lashes and tons of volume - it’s fake lashes in a bottle pretty much.

The next thing was a surprise for me, I picked it up in Asda while I was doing my weekly food shop and it’s the L’oreal Nude Magique Cushion foundation. I had heard great things about it and although I am a huge fan of L’oreal foundations, I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do. It has such a lovely coverage and leaves the skin looking really healthy and glowy. Another makeup favourite this month is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Illuminator. It’s the most stunning rose gold highlighter that gives you that ‘wet’ highlighted look. The product is really creamy and easy to blend, and it’s also highly pigmented, so I always use a light hand because a little goes a long way with this one.

If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you will have seen a couple of posts about nude nail polishes, and this month I completely fell in love with a new discovery. I went into Next with my boyfriend and found this little gem, it’s their Gloss Gel Effect nail polish in the shade Nudist Beach. How cute is the name? It’s a stunning beigey-brown that lasts incredibly long on the nails. I was seriously impressed! I won’t talk too much about it because I’m doing a post on my favourite nude nail polishes soon and this will be in the lineup.

I’ve always loved The Body Shop Body Butters, but the Fuji Green Tea has been my favourite recently. It has such a fresh scent and is really easy to spread on the body, it doesn’t drag like some moisturisers sometimes do. It will most definitely be coming away with me next month. Now this next product is my secret to looking awake at the gym when I’m honestly almost falling asleep, it’s the FAB Eye Duty Triple Remedy eye cream. It has a salmon tint to it which counteracts any darkness underneath my eyes. I have tried a couple others in the past but this is the one that really stands out and makes a massive difference in my appearance. Would highly recommend for days where you don’t want to wear makeup but still want to look semi-decent. And last but not least is my fragrance of choice this past month, the Ralph Lauren Big Pony Pink Spray. I smelt this on a friend of mine a while back and loved it, so finally I got one for myself. It’s really fruity but also has a sweet side to it.

What are your favourites of this past month?

SUMMER BEAUTY WISHLIST

This time next month I will hopefully *fingers crossed* be soaking up some sun rays by the pool or at the beach. It’s been a while since I have been on a proper summer holiday. My boyfriend and I struggled to find time off together during the summer for the last three years and every time I went somewhere the weather was always pants. So saying I’m looking forward to this little holiday is an understatement! I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it on here before, but I love packing, to me it plays a huge part in the whole travelling experience and I’ve been really excited to start shopping. Here are some products I am currently coveting and hoping to take away with me next month.

Institut Esthederm Adaptasun and Tan Prolonging Lotion. I’ve heard about this brand for years now and every time I go away I always tell myself ‘right, this time I have to buy it’ and never do in the end. So this year I’m making a point to actually purchase it and take it away with me. The Adaptasun is quite a funny product, it doesn’t have an SPF factor, instead you determine which one you need by the amount of sun’s that are at the bottom of the bottle, one sun being the lowest protection and three sun’s being the highest. It’s meant to prepare your skin for sun exposure, activate the skin’s natural melanin process to give you a more intense tan and also protects against UVA and UVB rays. Sounds pretty good to me. I also want to get the Tan Prolonging Lotion, which is their version of an aftersun. It’s meant to soothe the skin, cool burning sensations whilst helping your tan last longer. NEED!

The next two products are on my wishlist thanks to the lovely Lydia. She mentioned these in her videos and I’ve wanted them since. The By Terry Cellularose CC Lumi-Serum in Sunny Flash. I swatched this on the back of my hand the other day when I was in Space NK and couldn’t get over how glowy it was. It added a gorgeous sheer tan to the back of my hand, even my boyfriend commented on how gorgeous it was. It seems like the perfect product to take away to a sunny destination. It’s quite pricey so I am still debating whether or not I need it in my life, but I can’t stop thinking about it. And you know what they say, if you can’t stop thinking about it, buy it! The other product she mentioned is definitely more affordable, it’s the NEXT highlighter in the shade Stardust Glow. Lydia mentioned it was a dupe for the highlighter in the Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate palette, which is by far my favourite highlighter ever, but because it’s in a pan it can be a bit tricky to work with and also gets really messy, not to mention it’s ridiculously expensive, so hopefully I’ll like Stardust Glow just as much when I get my hands on it.

Hair has been a hot topic on my blog lately because of all the bleaching I’ve had done, so good haircare is imperative on a sunny holiday now more than ever. I really want to try the Phyto Plage range. They have an After Sun Recovery Mask that’s meant to un-do any damage caused by the sun and help it regain softness and shine. I also really want the After Sun Recovery Spray, which claims to do more or less the same thing as the mask but also acts as a detangler. Lord knows I need help with that! Last but not least on the topic of hair, the new launch by Oribe has got me all excited! They’re released a product called Matte Waves. It’s supposed to be like a sea-salt spray but without the stickiness and crispiness that usually comes with it. Need it in my life ASAP!

And finally, whilst I was trying to look for the Oribe Matte Waves on the Space NK website, I came across this little product. It’s the Hampton Sun Aloe Mist. It only has a handful of ingredients and the main one being aloe. It sounds like a dream for anyone who has burned their skin and needs immediate TLC.

Are you going on holiday soon?

FAVOURITE SUMMER LIPSTICKS

I have been going through a phase where all I ever wear on my lips are nudes. However, the other day I done my signature gold eye using the NARS Isolde duo and decided to use Infrared lipstick by Topshop. This look was something I wore to death last summer and it really brought back my love for bright lipsticks. The weather has finally warmed up in the UK and I finally feel like it’s appropriate to wear bright lipsticks, so today I wanted to share with you some of my favourites.

MAC Lady Danger and NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Red Square are quite possibly my top 2. My mum got me Lady Danger and the first day I wore it out, I lost it in a taxi, we’ve all been there, but I loved it so much that I bought another one. They’re both very similar, a red with a hint of orange in there. Lady Danger is definitely more vibrant, almost like a watermelon shade, whereas Red Square has a bit more orange to it. They both have a matte finish, so they last really well and require little touch-ups throughout the day.

I have to give credit to Topshop makeup, they do some amazing products, their lipsticks being one of them. As you can probably tell by the way I described those lipsticks above, I do love myself an orange lipstick, and Infrared is as orange as it gets. It has a creamy texture and leaves a sheen on your lips, so longevity wise, it doesn’t last that long, but the colour is stunning and looks beautiful when paired with a gold smokey eye and loads of bronzer.

Melon Pop by Clinique is a lipstick I reach for when I fancy wearing colour, but nothing too bold. It’s a light pinky-peach that really brightens up the face and immediately makes you look more awake and put together. It’s one of those that makes you look effortlessly beautiful. And last but not least, Maybelline Hot Plum is a shade that I’ve loved for the past two years. It’s a bright pink with a hint of purple that looks stunning! It demands attention and really adds that element of fun into your makeup.

FARFETCH - STYLE THE MUSIC ICON

So a couple of weeks ago, right after I was done shooting this outfit post, I received an e-mail from Farfetch. It was a surreal moment for me because I haven’t had this blog for very long and the fact that they found it and reached out to me was incredible. They’re running a blogger competition to celebrate the Farfetch Apple Music partnership and collaboration with neo soul artist Maxwell. You can check out the film where Maxwell talks about how passionate he was growing up, being the odd one out and the struggles of growing up in Brooklyn. You can also read the editorial story where he shares his favourite superhero and where he would like to be locked in overnight. Farfetch are integrating Apple Music onto their website and mobile app, it features two playlists, Songs From The Shoot and Tune Tuesdays.
Back to the competition, Farfetch wanted me to take inspiration from a music style icon most iconic look and recreate it by either using a fashion set using items from their website, or by recreating it using items from my own wardrobe. Given all that’s been going on this past week with Kim, Kanye and Taylor, I thought it was only fitting that I chose Kanye West. Also, love or hate Kanye, you can’t deny that he’s fashion forward. He’s always daring with his choices and somehow makes the unworkable, work. Hoodies and fur? Be honest, you would never think they would look good together before Kanye wore it. He’s often seen wearing long t-shirts, leather pants and hoodies. He also mixes it up with blazers, jumpers, bomber jackets, but to me it always stands out when he wears fur. The fur thing seems to run in the West family, even little North wears fur coats. Cute! So I took inspiration from these two outfits and tried to recreate something similar using items from Farfetch.com

YSL DO IT AGAIN

If I could only buy mascara from one brand for the rest of my life it would be YSL. Yves Saint Laurent is by far my favourite mascara brand. Babydoll, Shocking and Effet Faux Cils are amongst my top 5 high-end mascaras, although Shocking takes the cake. But they’ve only gone and done it again, they’ve released another amazing mascara to add to their already perfect mascara lineup.

(Two Coats)

The Vinyl Couture mascara comes in the most gorgeous packaging, it almost looks like a lipgloss. It has the signature YSL mascara scent, if you’ve ever tried their mascaras you’ll know what I’m talking about. The brush is made out of short, dense hairs that really grip each and every single lash to give you the longest and voluminous look possible. Although it’s not waterproof, it holds a curl really well which was a big thing for me as I’m currently in love with waterproof mascaras for that reason. This mascara also comes in a wide variety of shades from purple to blue, pink to green, gold to a shimmery black, a brown and of course, a black. I went for the black but the other shades look like they would be so much fun to wear during summer. ‘I’m the Clash’ is one of the darkest blacks I have ever seen, it honestly puts jet to shame. And although I am really in love with it, I can only imagine it getting even better as it starts to dry out.

What’s your favourite YSL product?

5 GYM ESSENTIALS

Posting about how I lost my gym mojo seems to have brought it back. Oh, the irony! But I’m so glad it is! I’ve been taking my little tush back to the gym quite frequently and I’m loving it. Contrary to most people, I’m at the gym to gain weight or at least try to. Back in 2013 I used to go religiously and managed to put on 4kg. I was living!! So since I’m back on the training life, I thought I’d share five of my gym essentials. Not gym bag essentials, because I’d be here all day, but five general things that help me have a better workout.

1. Deodorant
I could never start a workout without using deodorant. I know gyms are where people get down and dirty and sweat loads, but I’m not down for bad odours. No, thank you. I was always a huge fan of Sure but had never tried the Maximum Protection range. I first heard of it on Kaushal’s channel, bought it, loved it and haven’t used anything else since. It’s been my favourite deodorant for over a year now and would highly recommend it if you’re looking for something that will really stop you from being smelly.

2. Bubble Hair Ties
It’s happened a couple of times when I get to the gym, go in my gym bag, look for a hair tie and realise I forgot to take one. It’s rare, but it has happened and it was a huge pain in the culo. At the moment I’m loving these bubble hair ties because they don’t leave that dreaded kink in your hair when you let it down.

3. Workout Gloves
I know they look ridiculous, I, myself was a bit skeptical to wearing them, but they help so much! I’ve had so many blisters on my hands due to lifting weights and they just end up looking awful. So gloves are definitely a must if you want to keep your hands looking and feeling good.

4. Good Sports Bra
There are so many unsupportive and uncomfortable sports bras out there. It obviously depends on what you like and what you need. I wasn’t blessed with big lady lumps so I don’t need a bra that is wired and highly supportive, but I still like to feel secure and conformable while I’m working out. My favourite sports bras are from Sweaty Betty and Fabletics, they’re slightly more pricey but their comfort levels are high!

5. Music & Headphones
Of course! How can anyone workout without music? I know that gyms always have music playing in the background but most times I don’t like the music they play, or I simply don’t want to hear people grunting while they’re working out, so I always bring my phone and headphones to listen to whatever I want to hear. It always puts me in a better mood and never underestimate the power of a good song! It can make a huge difference between giving up or going for one more rep!

What are things you can’t go to the gym without?

The Eyeshadow Duo That Goes With Everything

When it comes to my favourite makeup brands, NARS is at the very top. This was something I hadn't realised until I started writing this post, but there really isn’t anything I’ve tried from the brand that I didn’t like. They have some of my favourite bases, bronzers, blushers and lipsticks, in fact, their Velvet Matte Lip Pencil range is my favourite lipstick line ever! I am also a huge fan of their eyeshadows as you probably already know if you read my post on Ondine, but today I’m dedicating this post to the beautiful duo called Isolde

You probably won’t believe me, but I’ve had this little duo since 2014 and only recently hit pan on one of the shades. The shadows are so finely milled and so highly pigmented that you only need the tiniest amount to cover your entire eyelid. It contains a gold and a copper shade which is right up my street, I'm loving anything with an orange undertone right now. The makeup possibilities with this duo are endless because of how versatile the shades are. They can be worn on their own, together, paired with other shades, with a nude lip, with a dark lip, with a colourful lip... seriously, it goes with everything! Personally I love wearing the lighter gold shade in the inner third of my eye, the copper shade on the outer part, with a brown or red-orange shade in the crease. It looks gorgeous with winged eyeliner and loads of mascara, it really adds an effortless smokey effect. This is a product I can’t go on holidays without and the eyeshadow I always pick when I want to look like I made an effort, but couldn’t be bothered.

Digging Up My Wardrobe

We all have things we can’t part with and even just the thought of getting rid of them breaks our hearts. Wether it’s makeup, clothes, shoes, accessories, boyfriends, there are things that continuously made it through countless spring cleaning sessions. Sometimes it’s due to sentimental value, sometimes it’s just because it brings back good memories, or sometimes it’s merely because we hope we’ll use it again. Although, 9 times out of 10 we don’t.

I’ve had this little white top in my wardrobe since I was 15. It’s been almost ten years, ouch! I bought it in John Lewis when I was shopping for my Confirmation outfit with my parents. I saw it, fell in love and it came home with me that day. It’s from the brand Jesiré and I remember it cost around £70 at the time, which was quite a lot considering I only wore it a handful of times. That being said, it has survived all my wardrobe clear-outs so far. It’s so well made, the fabric feels lovely and I love the put together, but also very feminine look to it. I completely fell in love with it all over again and I’m so glad I didn’t throw it out. I can feel myself getting a lot of wear out of it during the summer with some denim jeans or shorts. Unexpectedly I tried it on with these mosaic-print satin trousers from Zara and I loved how they paired together. And of course no look would ever be complete without a killer pair of heels and gorgeous sunnies.

Sunglasses Dior
Top Jesiré
Trousers Zara
Shoes Gianvito Rossi

So if you’re currently feeling guilty that a sentimental piece is taking up space in your wardrobe, fear not, you might fall in love with it all over again! Even if it’s in ten years time...

Dry Hands? Here's My Miracle Combo

I don’t know if it’s because I’m always flying, washing my hands, or just my dry skin in general but my hands have been awful! They’ve been so dry to the point where they look white. I was starting to despair because I had tried everything. I tried all the creams I had laying around the house, I exfoliated them and gave them a little massage with a hand balm but even that didn’t help. I finally went to visit my parents this weekend and my mum had her hand creams on her bedside table so I thought I’d give them a go. I can’t tell you the difference I saw overnight!

I applied the Aveda Hand Relief Night Serum followed by the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream and it’s a match made in heaven. The Clarins hand cream has been one of my favourites for a very long time. It’s super hydrating, absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave any stickiness behind and smells really good too. It’s a winner, but pair it with the Aveda hand serum and you’ll have hands as soft as a baby’s bottom. Not even joking. And by the way, how cool is the idea of a hand serum? This concept was completely new to me, I had no idea there were hand serums floating about in the beauty world, but I am so glad they are. The Aveda serum is a lightweight cream that sinks into the skin really quickly. I have used it on its own and it does a fab job but I must say that pairing it with the Clarins hand cream has completely transformed how my hands look and feel. I no longer feel embarrassed to have my hands on show, because seriously, who feels comfortable having dry white hands? Exactly.

On a different note, I’m currently browsing online shopping websites to pick up a few pieces for my upcoming holiday. Any good websites you recommend? Also, would you like to see a mood board of some of the pieces I'm planning on buy/already bought?

Reversing The Damage With Aveda

Hair care is something I’m really hot on at the moment. If you read my 5 Life Updates post, you will know that I wanted to go grey but unfortunately my colour didn’t lift enough for a toner to be able to stick to my hair. I had it bleached four times in two months and that really damaged my locks. Fortunately, I took after my mum with hair, so it’s pretty strong and has held itself pretty well considering all its been through. However, I can’t bare the thought of having unhealthy, dry hair, so I had to get myself quality haircare to ensure I’m giving my hair the best treatment possible.

I used the Pureology Hydrate range for quite some time and absolutely loved it, but I wanted to try something from Aveda since I had heard great things about the brand. I knew I definitely wanted to try a few bits from their Damage Remedy range, because well, seemed fitting to my current situation, but for shampoo I didn’t want to go for something that could potentially be too hydrating. I recently bought a salon branded shampoo that was aimed at dry hair and every time I used it I felt like I had to wash my hair again as it left some sort of residue. So to avoid that, I went with the Shampure shampoo.

The shampoo is lovely, it has a gel-like consistency and foams up really easily which I love. I can’t stand it when shampoos take forever and a day to lather up. It is also really easy to rinse out, so I never feel like I still have some left on my hair. After I’ve washed my hair I go in with the Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment. It says to leave it on for 2-3 minutes, however when I have time I will usually leave this on for much longer. It’s perfect for anyone with dry, or chemically treated hair. It’s like a drink for my tresses and I always look forward to using this. After I leave the shower I’ll usually keep my hair in a towel for at least half an hour if I can. Because my hair is a bit dry now, I find it quite hard to brush thorough it when it’s wet, so I take a 20p-size amount of the Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair and run that through the lengths of my hair. It acts as a detangler, helps to fill in damaged cuticles for a smoother look and also protects the hair against heat damage. The whole Aveda range smells heavenly, it’s like a mix of being in a spa and being in a field of flowers. There are also no chemical nasties in their products which is truly amazing. And yes, I’m a huge fan of the brand if you couldn’t tell...

What products are you using on your hair right now?

White Shirt & Denim - Casual Series

Sunglasses: Dior
Necklace: Gift
Shirt: Topshop
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: Nicholas Kirkwood

This is a weird one for me, I’ve wanted to post an outfit post for such a long time but I must admit that I feel a bit weird in front of the camera. I just feel very aware of people around me and I’m scared to make a fool out of myself. Pretty pathetic right? But I’m sure many others feel the same way so that makes me feel better about it. I went out shopping with my boy the other day and thought I’d ask him to take a few snaps of my outfit, so let’s overlook the awkward posing and get down to the clothes. I’m a huge fan of anything comfortable. On a day-to-day basis I like to dress up quite slouchy and like I didn’t make much of an effort. So for this look I went for a cotton white shirt, ripped denim jeans, statement shoes, a dainty necklace and a pair of sunnies. It’s not a groundbreaking outfit, but it’s something I feel comfortable and myself in. Hope you all have a great start to the week!

Nicholas Kirkwood Beya Bottalato Loafers; My Go-To Flats

Pointy shoes were my thing back when I was fourteen. I remember getting my first pair of pointy heels for a family members wedding. Having small feet can be a struggle, so having a pointy shoe always made it look like my feet were a bit bigger than they actually were. However, I did go off pointy shoes at some point and hadn’t bought another pair since. After watching a few videos where people mentioned just how comfy the Nicholas Kirkwood Loafers were, I couldn’t resist but pick up a pair. I did mention on my wishlist that I wanted the white pair, and I did buy them, however they were a tad too big for me so I sent them back and unfortunately the size I wanted was out of stock. Happy accident to be honest because I changed my mind and went for the metallic silver instead.

I’m a huge fan of silver things and I thought ‘well silver and white are kind of the same thing’. Not really, I know, but I thought it would be a nice little hint of something something for the summer. Not to mention that white gets dirty really quickly, so these would require less attention. I was so excited to get these I can’t even tell you! It’s the softest leather in the world, they’re beyond comfortable! They initially rubbed me a bit at the back of my heel, but it was a one-off, I wore them the following day and didn’t feel a thing. They’ve been my go-to pair of flats and I know for sure that I will wear these to death. I can safely say that these were worth the money. I know not everyone is ok with spending loads of money on shoes, but I think that a good pair os designer shoes can always make an outfit look even more amazing.

They’re great to pair up with jeans or shorts for a casual look, but they also look stunning with tailored trousers. They’re such a versatile shoe and although they’re metallic, they are surprisingly easy to wear. They never look wrong with an outfit, in fact, they bring an outfit to life because they just demand attention. In terms of sizing I had to size down a full size, so instead of a size 3 I had to get a size 2. I do find that these come up a bit wide, so for those of you with thin feet like me, it would be worth trying at least half a size down.

What are you favourite shoes at the moment?

5 LIFE UPDATES

I’ve had this blog for little over two months now and I’m loving every minute of it. I feel so proud of this little space on the internet. I used to make Youtube videos back in a war but I stopped because I felt like it wasn’t enjoyable for me. Blogging however, is very enjoyable. There’s nothing I like more than to just sit on my bed, laptop on my lap, enjoying a cuppa tea and writing about something I love. It’s my way to escape everyday life. Although I haven’t had my blog for that long, I feel like I haven’t posted much on here about me, so today I wanted to write a little ‘Life Update’ post. Not sure it’s an update because there’s nothing to update you on since I’ve never posted many personal things on here, but let’s roll with it.

1 - I’ve lost my gym mojo!
Back when the year started, along with everybody else, I started to hit the gym pretty consistently. I got into a routine I really enjoyed and I felt like I was on my gym A game. I was really motivated and all I wanted to do on my rest days was go to the gym. It got to the point where it was really enjoyable for me. However, I went on holiday in February and I completely lost my will to go ever since. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve still been going, but not as frequently as I would like and it’s become a chore rather than something I like doing. It’s really annoying me how lazy I’ve become. My main goal at the gym is to become stronger, but I would also love to put on weight. I was bullied so much throughout primary and secondary school on how skinny I was, I guess I grew up with this insecurity. The Sweaty Betty sale is on and I picked up a few bits in hopes that I will get my gym-bunny motivation back. These legs won’t grow themselves!

2 - The designer obsession continues...
I recently blogged about what items were on my wishlist and shockingly enough for me, it involved a lot of designer stuff. I was never into designer things, mainly because I knew I couldn’t afford it. I’m not one to spend time browsing or coveting things I know I’m not going to buy, and although I still can’t afford designer pieces, my interest for them has peaked massively. I would still never be able to just walk into a store and buy three pairs of shoes and a handbag, but a girl can dream. Since I mentioned my wishlist, here are the recent additions; Dior So Real sunglasses, Aquazurra Christy Flats and Valentino Rockstud pumps. Yeah, I thinking dreaming will have to do this time LOL.

3 - What I’ve been watching.
Love Island. Ok can we can take a moment here! Who’s been watching? I’m so obsessed it’s unreal. I literally can’t wait to get home and catch up on the latest episodes, although I must say last nights episode enraged me! Can't believe how many snakes are around in that villa. I’ve also been really into Game of Thrones and House of Cards. On paper I wouldn’t say they’re my typical kind of series, I’m more of a Vampire Diaries/90210 kinda gal, but I’ve been really into more ‘adult-type’ series. Whatever that even means...

4 - Learning to dance Kizomba.
Kizomba is a style of dance and a kind of music that originated in Angola. I’ve listened to the music since I was 12 and have always wanted to learn how to dance it, but it wasn’t until recently that I started attending dance classes. Due to the nature of my job I can’t always make it, but the times I’ve made it to class have been brilliant. If you’ve never heard of it, go on Youtube and search ‘Kizomba' and I’m sure you’ll love it. The dance won’t be to everyones taste as some people see it as being too close, but it’s just a dance and personally I don’t see any harm in it.

5 - I don't know what to do with my hair!
If you read my first ever post on here (25 Facts About Me) you will know that I’m forever changing my hair colour. I just can’t settle between blonde or brunette. I want grey hair so badly, not natural grey hair of course, but I’ve bleached my hair four times already and it still hasn’t lifted to a place where a grey toner can actually stick to. So now I’m left with damaged hair, not too damaged because thankfully I have quite strong hair, but not as healthy as it could be. So now I’m at the point where I need to decide, do I leave my hair as it is? Do I dye it back brown and add a fringe? (Selena style) Or do I just bite the bullet one more time, bleach it and hope it lifts enough to allow me to go grey? Ugh, decisions.

So what have you been up to lately?
